- Suzzanne SuleimanJan, 16 2018★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆seems like we will be going to court with this one. I was able to do my research and found a former employee of this store who know this scam well. Someone wants to put after market rims on their car and a tire place shouldn't know that they have to put rings in there. No they purposely leave the rings out. Upon further research not putting these rings in would cause the car to shake. When we came back in for the car shaking, then suddenly they say we have all these things wrong with the car and it has nothing to do with their initial job. So they didn't put these rings in initially so the car would shake and we would come back in. What tire employee wouldn't know that these rings were needed? Now Mark from headquarters is saying a tire employee shouldn't know that these rings were necessary for the car not to shake and we should foot the bill for the unnecessary work done either because of their ignorance or malice? It clearly shows in our first visit we got rims put on the car, the technician knew to sell us and put the bolts we didn't have on the car, but a TIRE PLACE that sells aftermarket rims themselves wouldn't know that these rings were needed for things to drive properly?!? Super suspicious... so now I should have to foot the bill for this unnecessary work done that could have been avoided if the 7.99 rings would have been put on in the first place. On top of that my car in less than 24 miles after spending 1700 to "fix" it isn't running. This is beyond ridiculous and like I said I guess we will end up in court with our evidence and also I plan on exposing this scam so others don't fall victim.
